On Monday, 27 October, we’re setting the table for a special occasion. Join us at the Saardé Flagship Store as we celebrate the launch of OPA! — the beautiful new cookbook by twin sisters Helena & Vikki Moursellas, cherishing the food, ambience, and traditions found in Greece’s beloved tavernas.
With 80 delicious recipes and alongside engaging stories that highlight iconic dishes and the passionate people behind these lively eateries, this book invites you into the heart of Greece’s culinary culture.
What to anticipate:
- Meet & Greet & Q&A — A heartfelt conversation with Helena & Vikki about their inspiration, favourite tavernas, and everyday cooking rituals.
- Live Demo & Tasting — The authors will share a recipe from the book, offer everyone a taste of it and provide simple table styling ideas with Saardé pieces.
- Drinks & Refreshments - Wine and a non-alcoholic homemade pomegranate & mint spritz shared by the authors will be poured into Saardé Kairos Glasses for everyone to enjoy.
- Signed Copies — You will get an opportunity to purchase your own copy of OPA! Signed by the authors along with Saardé pieces for home, senses or self.

About the authors
Helena & Vikki Moursellas are identical twins, chefs, authors, and content creators who have turned their love of Greek cuisine into a thriving career. Raised in Adelaide, South Australia, the sisters were immersed in the flavours and traditions of their heritage from a young age, learning to cook alongside their beloved Yiayia, Koula. Their deep-rooted passion for Greek food remains the foundation of their work today.
Their big break came as finalists on My Kitchen Rules, where their heartfelt and flavourful Greek family recipes won them a devoted following. This success led to the release of their debut cookbook, Taking You Home: Simple Greek Food for Friends & Family, in 2015. Building on that momentum, they launched their second cookbook, Peináo: A Greek Feast For All in 2023, which quickly became a bestseller, topping Amazon charts, selling in Harrods, and being reprinted twice. The book, featuring 80 mouth-watering recipes designed for feasting, was styled entirely by Helena and Vikki, showcasing their creative vision and attention to detail.
With over a decade of experience in the food industry, the twins have carved out a niche in food photography, recipe development, and content creation. Helena is currently based in London, where she collaborates with brands and shares her culinary adventures through her viral Instagram series Eat Like a Greek, bringing traditional Greek flavours to a global audience. Vikki, based in Sydney, thrives as a freelance photo chef, recipe developer, and content creator, working with major brands like Maldon Salt, Farmer’s Union, and Bonnie and Neil.
Together, Helena and Vikki continue to share their love for Greek food with the world, blending culinary expertise with creativity and a deep appreciation for their heritage. Whether through cookbooks, digital content, or brand collaborations, they remain passionate about making Greek cuisine accessible, vibrant, and full of flavour.
